Dear Sofi
Any words of wisdom for how to get into teaching my classes and not be held back by worry about if people will like it or what i am like as a teacher?

Hi Zpora,
Thanks so much for your words.
It's always a challenge to not worry about what others are thinking about us. The teachings of Yoga are so ancient and powerful. They have been passed down for centuries from teachers to students. Your job as a yoga teacher is to delivery these teachings as clearly as you can with out letting your own ego obstruct them. Remember, it's not about you — it's about the teachings. When we let our fears about how others might view us get in the way of our ability to deliver the goods we are interfering with our students opportunity to receive the lessons that they need to evolve toward Oneness and has Yoga teacher this should always be our main concern. Just remember that the teachings are strong enough to hold there own. They have lasted because they are True and when you speak the truth others will be open to it.
There will always be some students in class who are more close minded but that is a result of their karma and you should not let that influence the way you teach.
Remember the ego feels fear because it believe itself to be the doer. Let go and let God guide you through your classes and through every moment of life.
