Meditation is the heart of yoga. In fact asanas (poses) and pranayama (breath work) are simply meant to prepare us for our meditation practice.
In this six week series, Sofi and Lindsay will teach a variety of meditation techniques and help students to cultivate a home meditation practice.
Whether you are brand new to meditation or have practiced before, you will benefit from this supportive, compassionate community environment and open discussions that this series will offer.
Each class will include:
Gentle asana with a focus on mindful movement.
Breathing techniques to help calm and focus the mind.
A mediation technique.
Discussion of our experiences.
